Rendezvous plans are one-time, per-event purchases — not subscriptions.
If you haven't published your event page yet, you can ask for a full refund within 14 days of the purchase. This goes for everything you buy for the event: a plan, a guest extension, text messages or another year online.
Publishing your event page puts what you bought to use, so from then on a purchase is final. The exception is where the law gives you a right to a refund — for example, if the service doesn't work as described. If you think that applies, contact us and we'll look into it.
Refunds are handled by our team — there's no self-service refund button. To request one:
Open the event in your dashboard and go to More → Event settings → Plan. The Payment History section lists every charge — the date, what you bought, the amount, and its status — so you can confirm exactly which payment you'd like refunded.
Email support@rendez.us with your event name and the charge you'd like refunded, and briefly describe your reason. The more detail you include, the faster we can help.
Our team reviews refund requests within 2 business days. You'll receive a response via email. If approved, the refund is processed back to your original payment method, and the charge shows as Refunded in your Payment History.
Only a full refund takes back what a payment bought (so does a dispute your bank decides in your favour). A partial refund is a goodwill gesture: the amount shows as refunded in your Payment History, and what you bought stays exactly as it is.
Your guest limit goes down by that extension's 100 guests. If your current guest count is over the new limit, no guests are removed — but you won't be able to add new ones until you're under the limit or add another extension.
The pack's text messages come off your balance, but only those you haven't sent yet. Messages already sent stay sent, and your balance never goes below zero.
Your page's online-until date moves back by that year (never earlier than a date we've set for it). If the new date has already passed, the page is archived at the next nightly check: it stays safe and only you can open it.
How long does a refund take to process? Once approved, refunds typically appear on your statement within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
Can I cancel my event without a refund? Yes. You can take your event offline at any time by setting its visibility back to Draft in Event page → Details & access, without requesting a refund. Nothing is lost — your design, guests, and responses all stay exactly as they were.
What if I want to switch plans instead? See Upgrading your plan. Upgrading from Standard to Premium keeps everything in place and you only pay the difference between the two.
