Upgrading your plan
How to upgrade from Free to Standard or Premium, when each upgrade makes sense, and what happens to your event when you do.
How to upgrade from Free to Standard or Premium, when each upgrade makes sense, and what happens to your event when you do.
Upgrading is quick and nothing is lost. Your event page, guest list, theme, and every setting carry straight over — you're just unlocking more room and more features.
Go to the event you want to upgrade and open More → Event settings → Plan.
Click Compare and change plan under your current plan to open the side-by-side comparison. At the bottom, every plan above yours has its own offer, showing exactly what you will pay:
The button on the offer repeats the total: on a Premium offer it reads Upgrade to Premium for, followed by the amount. If a promotion is running, the offer shows the promotional price, the regular price crossed out and the date the offer ends.
Click the button. You're taken to Stripe's secure checkout — enter your card details or tap Apple Pay / Google Pay and confirm. The total you pay there is the one on the offer.
Stripe sends you back to the page you bought from (the Plan page here). A notice at the top checks your payment and tells you where it stands: Checking your payment…, then Thanks — finishing up your purchase…, and finally Payment received — your purchase is active. This usually takes a few seconds. Your new plan and its features appear as soon as the notice says it is active.
Upgrade when your guest list outgrows 25, or when you want the tools real planning needs: assign seating, scan guests in with QR check-in, see your full reports, and bring on co-planners. (Email broadcasts, the guest feed, importing a spreadsheet of guests and invitations by text are already yours on Free; text messages are prepaid.) Standard is per event, covers up to 100 guests and is the right home for most events.
Step up to Premium when you need:
party.yourdomain.com instead of a subdomainPremium is per event; an event already on Standard only pays the difference.
your-event.rendez.us keeps working too.Plans are per-event and one-time, so there's no downgrade path. If you bought a plan you didn't need, see Cancellation & refunds for your options.
