A theme is the complete visual style of your event page. It sets your colors, typography, spacing, background textures, and the overall layout feel — so you can go from an elegant wedding to a bold birthday party with a single choice.
Every event starts with a theme, and you are never stuck with it. Switching themes is non-destructive: all of your content, sections, and settings stay exactly where they are. Only the look changes.
When you create an event, the Customize step lets you pick a color palette and add a cover photo before you publish — and those choices carry straight through to your live page, so the preview you see is the page your guests get. Everything stays fully editable in the page builder afterward.
Rendezvous includes 12 styled themes, each built for a different mood.
There is a thirteenth entry in the picker, Base: a clean, minimal foundation on system fonts and neutral colors. It is the theme every other one builds on, and it is a perfectly good choice in its own right when you want the page to get out of the way — but if you want character, start from one of the twelve below.
| Theme | Best for | Character |
|---|---|---|
| Rendezvous | Any modern gathering | The platform's signature look. Bold indigo-and-violet gradients, chunky display type with italic serif accents, a dark cinematic feed. |
| Atelier Wedding | Weddings, formal dinners | Romantic and editorial. Warm paper tones, classic serif type, delicate flourishes. |
| Villa | Garden & destination weddings | Sun-warmed Mediterranean. Terracotta and olive, soft limestone, golden light, botanical flourishes. |
| Baby Shower | Baby showers, kids' parties | Soft and botanical. Gentle pastels, handwriting accents, rounded card layouts. |
| Birthday Celebration | Birthdays, festive parties | Energetic and bold. Bright colors, a spinning badge, marquee strips, strong graphics. |
| Confetti | Birthdays, joyful parties | Vivid candy palette, chunky rounded type, scattered confetti, and a celebratory wish wall. |
| Concert Pass | Music events, nightlife, launches | Dark and high-energy. Ticket-stub aesthetic, neon accents, monospace type. |
| Summit | Corporate, conferences, launches | Confident and trustworthy. Deep navy, a tall grotesk display, ruled engineered structure. |
| Minimal | Corporate events, meetups | Swiss-inspired and content-first. High contrast, monochrome palette, large serif type. |
| Studio Opening | Art shows, exhibitions | Gallery-inspired. Editorial layout, IBM Plex type, bold red accents. |
| Weekend Retreat | Retreats, outdoor gatherings | Nature-inspired and relaxed. Warm earth tones, organic rounded shapes, soft serif type. |
| Legacy Basic | Casual, fun celebrations | Bold and playful. Neon-green accents, heavy italic display type, easygoing energy. |
You change your theme inside the Page Builder — the same place you arrange your page sections.
From your event dashboard, go to Event page → Customize page. Your event page opens with a live preview.
Open the Customize panel with no section selected, and look in the Style group — it is open already. Active theme is the first control in it, with a short description of whichever theme you are on.
Use the Active theme menu to pick a different theme. The preview updates right away, so you can see how your own content looks in each style before you decide.
Your changes save automatically as you work. You will see the button read Saved once everything is in sync, and you can press Save any time to push your changes immediately.
A theme gives you a polished starting point, but it is just the beginning. Once you have picked one, you can fine-tune almost anything:
Think of the theme as your foundation, and these tools as the dials you turn to get it exactly right.
Every theme's navigation bar behaves the same way on a small screen, and you don't configure it: below 640px the row of links folds into a menu button at the end of the bar. Tapping it opens a panel over the page with the same links, plus the guest's sign-out control when they're signed in. Tap the button again, tap outside it, or press Escape to close; picking a link closes it and jumps to that part of the page.
All thirteen themes carry it, each skinned in its own palette and type, so the panel is a light card on a light theme and a dark one on Summit or Concert Pass.
