Invite guests & share
Add guests manually, import from a spreadsheet, share your link, and choose who can see your event.
Two easy ways to invite
Open Guests → Invite. Choose Personal invitations or Share one link. You can use both for the same event. Switching the tool does not silently change access settings; the access summary always explains who can join.
Personal invitations
Use this when you know who is on the list.
- Add a guest, or Paste or import a list. Adding someone does not send a message. You can save a name-only guest, but sending email needs an email address.
- Select Review invitations. Check the recipients, add an optional note and preview the email for a selected guest. If your account doesn't have a name yet, you're asked how guests should see it; leave it empty and the email says "The organizer".
- Choose Send N invitations. Successfully accepted emails are reported as queued. The guest list shows sending status separately from Going, Maybe or Awaiting response.
- If part of a batch could not be queued, use Retry failed to try only those people. If delivery later fails, Review failed invitations appears in Invite.
Each person receives a private invitation link tied to their guest record. To send through your own messaging app, open that guest’s actions and copy their personal invitation link. Share it only with that person. Copying does not mark it delivered.
Name-only guests and people who opted out of email remain on your list. Use their personal link or update their contact details before emailing.
SMS invitations are also available from selected guest actions. Check the estimate before sending; SMS uses the text messages you've bought.
Share one link
Use this for an existing group chat, mailing list or other group. The link is your event's own address: guests already on your list get straight in from it, and anyone else can request a place.
- Choose Share one link. If requests are off, the page says so instead of showing a message: choose Set up private requests, then review and save the settings. Your guest list and personal invitations stay as they are.
- Once requests are on, edit the prepared Invitation message if you like, then Copy invitation message and paste it into your chat or email. Copy link and a QR code are also available.
- Everyone who opens the link confirms their email or phone number with a one-time code. Guests on your list go straight to their invitation: no request, no approval. Anyone else enters their name and sends a request, and your private event details stay hidden until they are admitted.
- Review Guests → Requests. Approve & add as going adds the person to your guest list as Going and sends a confirmation. They can change their response later.
