Sharing your event
Share your event page with a clean subdomain link, custom domain, QR codes, and rich social previews — so every guest lands on the same polished page.
Start with the right invitation link
Open Guests → Invite in your event dashboard. There are two simple ways to invite people, and you can use both:
- Personal invitations: add the people you know, then review and send their invitations. Each person gets a private link. You can also copy that person’s link into your own message.
- Share one link: copy the ready-made message into your group chat or email. Guests on your list get straight in; anyone else requests a place, and you approve who joins. Approval adds them as going and sends a confirmation.
The shared link is your event's own address. Everyone who opens it confirms their email or phone number with a one-time code: a guest on your list goes straight to their invitation, and anyone else can request a place. You do not need to enter a guest list first. Your event stays private while you decide who can attend. See Invite your guests for the full walkthrough.
Copying a link does not send it. I’ve shared it is your own reminder that you sent it elsewhere; Rendezvous cannot track delivery in your chat app.
Your event URL
When you name your event, Rendezvous creates a subdomain for you automatically:
https://my-wedding.rendez.us
You can change the slug (the my-wedding part) under Event page → Details & access, before or after you publish.
