The event recap

Turn one album into a shareable memory page guests can revisit after the event — your note, a preview of the photos, and a quiet count of what everyone collected.
The recap is a single page for the whole event, living at your event's own
address with /recap on the end. It's the page you send once the day is over
and the photos are in: your event's name and date, a note from you, a handful of
photos from one album, and a quiet count of everything guests collected —
photos, guestbook notes, posts.
Guests can open any photo full-screen, and follow View all through to the whole album.
In your event's dashboard, open More and choose Thank-you & recap. It works from your albums, because that's where its photos come from.
Choose one of your albums. Each one shows how many approved photos it holds, so you can see what assigning it would actually publish. Picking an album is what puts the recap live — there's no separate publish button.
The recap is a preview. Set Photos on the recap to however many tiles you want — twelve to start with — and every tile takes the album's next photo in your own order. Guests get a View all link through to the rest.
Want a specific photo in a specific spot? Open Choose specific photos, then Pin it to that position. Everything else carries on filling from the album, skipping whatever you pinned. Set the number to 0 and the recap becomes your note, the counters and the link — no photos on the page itself.
A few lines at the top of the page: a thank-you, a favourite moment, whatever you'd say if everyone were still in the room. It appears exactly as you write it, in your own words. Leave it empty and the recap falls back to your event description.
When the page is live, the recap screen shows the address and a Copy link button, plus Open recap to see exactly what your guests will see.
The recap screen answers this for you: at the top it says exactly what a guest opening the link gets right now, and if that isn't the page you wanted, it lists every reason.
Two things take the page away entirely — open the link and you get a not-found page:
One thing leaves the page up but empty:
A pinned photo can also quietly stop working: if you remove it from the album, or it's still waiting for approval, that tile goes back to taking the album's next photo. Guests never see a gap — but the tile says what happened, right there in the list.
Exactly the people who can see your event, and no one else. The recap goes through the same visibility rules as the rest of your event page — a private event's recap stays private, and someone who can't open your event can't open its recap either. Instead of an error, they land on the same sign-in page your event page shows, with Find your invitation for guests who are signed out on that device. Once they're in, they land back on the recap.
It's also kept out of search engines on purpose. A recap can hold private memories, so it's a page you share deliberately, by link.
Two ways, and they mean slightly different things:
Setting Photos on the recap to 0 does not take the page down — it keeps the page and drops the mosaic.
Either way nothing is deleted: the album, the photos and the note are untouched.
