The guest feed is a private social wall that lives right on your event page. Your guests can share photos and videos, react to each other's posts with a tap, and chat back and forth in the comments — all in one warm, scrapbook-style stream.
It's the easiest way to build excitement before the day and to capture every candid moment during it. Think of it as your event's own little social network, just for the people you invited.
The feed is available on every plan, including Free. You switch it on from your event settings.
Open your event and go to Event page → Details & access, then scroll to the Guest Posts section.
Turn on Enable guest posts. Now your guests can share photos and comments on your event feed.
Save, and the feed appears on your event page for your guests.
You decide whether guest posts go live straight away or wait for your thumbs-up first. There's a Require approval toggle in two places: the Guest Posts section of your event settings, and the Moderation card on the Guest Posts page.
| Mode | What happens | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Instant (approval off) | New posts appear on the feed the moment a guest shares them | A trusted, signed-in guest list where you want the stream to feel live |
| Approval-first (approval on) | Every guest post waits in a pending queue until you approve it | Public events, big crowds, or anything you want to screen first |
When a guest edits an approved post while approval is on, the edited version returns to your queue.
When approval is on, your guests still see their own pending posts (marked as awaiting approval), so they know it went through — the rest of the feed just won't see it until you say yes.
Photos and videos open at full size when tapped. Guests can move through every attachment, including those beyond the four preview tiles. If an upload fails, the post stays in the composer so they can retry without losing their text or files.
Once the feed is on, every invited guest can join in. Here's what they'll see.
Guests write a message, add photos, or both. Each post can carry up to 10 photos or videos, so they can drop a whole little album from the dance floor in one go. Feed photos and videos count toward your event's storage; once it's full, a post with photos is refused with "This event has run out of photo storage" (words alone still go up).
A single tap drops a reaction on a post. Instead of a plain like, guests pick from a small set of celebratory emoji — a heart, a party popper, applause, and a few more — so a moment can get exactly the response it deserves. Each emoji keeps its own count, and the tallies update live for everyone.
Each guest gets one reaction per post: tap the same emoji again to take it back, or tap a different one to switch — your reaction moves over rather than stacking up. It's a quick, expressive way to cheer a moment on without writing a comment.
Guests can comment on any post, and reply directly to another comment to keep a conversation together. Replies nest neatly under the comment they answer, so a back-and-forth stays easy to follow. Guests can delete their own comments at any time.
Long conversations have a Load more button, so earlier comments remain available without loading the entire discussion at once. A failed comment stays in the box ready to retry.
As the organizer, you have a full set of moderation tools on the Guest Posts page. Every post has a menu (the three dots) with the actions below, and pending posts get quick Approve and Reject buttons right on the card.
| Action | What it does |
|---|---|
| Approve | Publishes a pending post so all your guests can see it |
| Reject | Removes a pending post that you don't want to publish |
| Hide post | Takes a published post off the guest-facing feed without deleting it — you can show it again later |
| Pin post | Keeps an important post at the top of the feed (great for a welcome message or key update) |
| Delete post | Removes a post for good, along with its photos |
Use the All Posts, Pending, and Approved tabs at the top to filter the stream while you work. When posts are waiting on you, a banner tells you how many need a look.
If a guest uploads something that doesn't belong, you can flag the individual media item with a reason (such as abuse, explicit content, harassment, or copyright) and a short note. Flagging records the issue and lets the uploader know — handy when you want a clear trail rather than a silent delete.
The feed is wonderful in the moment, but it scrolls. When a guest posts a photo you'll want to keep, you don't have to chase them for it later — copy it straight into one of your albums with a couple of clicks.
On any post with photos (pending or published), open the post menu (the three dots) and choose Add to album.
Choose which album to copy the photos into, then select Add to album. If you haven't made an album yet, create one first.
The copied photo becomes its own album item with an independent copy of the file. That means it lands ready to show — and if you ever remove it from the album, the original feed post is never touched.
