Duplicating an event
Reuse an event you've already built as a template — clone its page design, theme, and schedule into a fresh draft, without carrying over guests, RSVPs, or payments.
Reuse an event you've already built as a template — clone its page design, theme, and schedule into a fresh draft, without carrying over guests, RSVPs, or payments.
If you run the same kind of event more than once — a monthly dinner, a recurring workshop, a yearly party — you don't have to rebuild it each time. Duplicate an existing event and Rendezvous deep-clones everything you designed into a brand-new draft, ready to tweak and re-share. Think of any event you've built as a template you can stamp out again.
Go to Manage > Events to see all of your events.
Each event card has a Duplicate event button (the copy icon). Click it on the event you'd like to reuse.
Rendezvous creates a new event named "Copy of [your event]" as a Draft, gives it its own fresh link, and opens it for you. Rename it, set the new date and move the RSVP deadline to suit it (it is copied exactly as it was), and make any changes — then publish when you're ready.
A duplicate carries over everything that makes the event look and feel like the original:
In short: the creative work is preserved, so the copy is ready to customize rather than rebuilt from a blank page.
A duplicate is a clean slate for everyone and everything tied to the original run of the event. It does not bring over:
