My event page looks wrong

Event page not showing what you designed — stale layout, a missing section, off colors, or fonts that didn't load? Here's how to spot the cause and put it right.
You opened your event page and it doesn't match what you built in the Page Builder. Maybe a section is missing, the colors look off, the fonts fell back to something plain, or your custom styling didn't take. The good news: this is almost always a quick fix, and your content is safe the whole time. Let's walk through the usual suspects in order — start at the top and you'll likely have it sorted in a minute or two.
The most common cause — and the easiest to rule out. After you save in the Page Builder, your browser sometimes hangs on to an older copy of the page, so your latest changes don't show up.
Press Cmd + Shift + R (Mac) or Ctrl + Shift + R (Windows or Linux). This skips the cache and pulls the freshest version straight from our servers.
Still looks off? Open the page in a private or incognito window. A private window never uses cached files, so it shows you exactly what your guests would see right now.
Every section on your page has a show/hide switch, so it's easy to toggle one off and forget. A hidden section stays exactly as you built it — it just doesn't appear on your live page until you switch it back on.
From your event dashboard, go to Event page → Customize page. Your page opens with a live preview and a list of your sections.
In the section list, look at the eye icon on each section. A crossed-out eye means that section is hidden, and its row looks dimmed.
Click the crossed-out eye to show the section again. The eye turns solid, the row brightens up, and your section reappears in the preview. Your changes save automatically.
If you've written your own CSS, a rule might be overriding your theme's built-in styles in a way you didn't intend. The fastest way to confirm this is to switch your custom styling off and see if the problem disappears.
In the Page Builder, select the section you styled, then open the Customize panel on the right and scroll to Custom CSS. (Global CSS lives in the Page Builder too, if you're using it for your whole page.)
Cut your custom CSS and paste it somewhere safe, like a notes app, so you don't lose it. Save and check the preview.
If the page looks right without your CSS, the conflict is in there. Paste your rules back one block at a time, checking the preview after each, until you find the rule causing trouble.
A single missing bracket, an unclosed quote, or a misspelled property is all it takes to break a layout. A quick check in your browser's developer tools will usually point you straight to it.
Press F12, or Cmd + Option + I on a Mac, to open the developer tools. Click the Console tab and look for any errors highlighted in red.
Go back to the Page Builder and open the code you've added — your per-section Custom CSS in the Customize panel, or the Custom Code editor (with its HTML and CSS tabs) on a custom code section. Look closely for missing semicolons, unclosed braces, or misspelled property names.
Correct anything you find, save, and hard-refresh the page to confirm it's back to normal.
Themes pull their fonts from external servers. If your network or a workplace firewall blocks those requests, your page quietly falls back to a system font — which can make everything look a little different.
Load the page on another connection, like mobile data instead of office Wi-Fi. If the fonts look right there, your original network was blocking them.
Open developer tools (F12), go to the Network tab, and reload the page. Filter by Font and look for any failed requests, which show up in red.
On a workplace or school network, ask whoever manages it to allowlist the font CDN domains so the requests can get through.
If your page still doesn't look the way you expect, we're happy to help. Contact support with your event URL and a screenshot of what you're seeing, and we'll compare it to your Page Builder setup and get you sorted.
