Made a change to your event page you didn't mean to make? Here's how to roll your page back to an earlier version, and what to do about settings.
You deleted a section, swapped out content, picked the wrong theme, or otherwise changed your event page in a way you'd like to take back. Good news: your page editor keeps a running history of saved versions, so you can almost always get your old page back. This guide walks you through it.
The fix depends on what you changed:
Your page editor saves a snapshot every time your page is saved — and because it saves automatically as you work, you build up a version history without doing anything. You can browse those snapshots and roll your page back to any of them.
From your dashboard, go to Event page → Customize page. This opens your event page in the editor.
In the top bar of the editor, select Versions. A panel opens with a list of saved snapshots, each with a date and time and a short note about what it contains.
Find the snapshot from before your change — the timestamps and the change notes will help you spot it. Each entry tells you roughly what restoring it would do, like "bring back 2 sections" or "restore global CSS."
Select Restore on that version and confirm. Your page rolls back to that snapshot, and you'll see it update in the editor right away.
A new version is added to your history at these moments:
| Moment | What's saved |
|---|---|
| You edit your page | A snapshot of the previous content, saved automatically as you work |
| You publish your page | A snapshot labelled "Published" |
| You restore a version | A backup of your current draft, before the rollback |
Your history keeps your most recent snapshots (the latest few dozen), so a change you made a little while ago is usually still recoverable — just don't count on a snapshot from many edits and weeks ago still being there.
Event settings — your event name, date, location, and who's allowed to RSVP — live in Event page → Details & access. These aren't part of your page's version history, so there's no snapshot to restore. But you can usually find the original value:
If you've invited guests, your original details went out with those invitations. Look in your Messages or your guest emails to find the event name, date, and location as they were.
If you've added co-planners to your event, they may remember the original setting or have it written down somewhere. See Add co-planners to your event.

We'll do what we can to help you recover it. We can't promise to bring back every change, but version history covers most page edits — so it's worth checking your Versions list first.
