Adding a ticket or purchase link

Rendezvous handles your invitations, RSVPs, and guest list. But if your event sells tickets or charges for admission through another service — Eventbrite, a box office, a registration page, your own shop — you can point your guests straight to it with a single link.
You add this link in your event's Details settings. It's a simple external URL plus a status that controls whether (and how) the link appears, so you stay in charge of when it goes live.
From your event dashboard, go to Event page → Details & access. Scroll down to the Ticket Settings card.
In the Ticket Purchase URL field, paste the full web address where guests
buy tickets — for example, your Eventbrite listing or registration page. It
needs to be a complete, valid URL (starting with https://); if it isn't,
you'll see a gentle reminder to fix it before saving.
Set the Ticket Link Status to control whether guests see it. The three options are explained below.
Select Save in the bar at the bottom of the page. Your changes go live right away — and you can come back and change the status any time.
The Ticket Link Status dropdown decides what guests see. You can switch between these whenever you like, so the same link can quietly wait, go live, and then show as sold out — all without retyping the URL.
| Status | What it does |
|---|---|
| Hidden | The link is saved but not shown to guests. Perfect while tickets aren't on sale yet, or for keeping the URL on file before you're ready to publish it. This is the default. |
| Visible | The link is published, so guests can head over and buy tickets. |
| Sold out | The link stays in place, but it's marked as sold out so guests know admission is no longer available. |
Your ticket link belongs to the event itself, so it travels with your event page. When the status is Visible, guests can find their way to buy tickets from your event; when it's Sold out, they see that admission is closed; and when it's Hidden, there's nothing to see at all.
https:// is the usual reason a link won't save.
